Recently, Team17, the designer and distributer of numerous darling non mainstream games, declared a “MetaWorms” project attached to its series of Worms games that stretches more than 23 years and has sold north of 75 million duplicates. Team17 said the generative NFTs would be “allowing fans the opportunity to possess a novel piece of computer game memorabilia.” after 24 hours, Team17 currently says it “is today reporting a finish to the MetaWorms NFT project. We have paid attention to our Teamsters, advancement accomplices, and our games’ networks, and the worries they’ve communicated, and have hence made the choice to stride back from the NFT space.”
